Dr. Kumar is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, and also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association and the Middlesex County Dental society. He started his Dental Education in Bangalore, India, where he completed his dental degree in 2001, recognized by the Dental Council of India. Willing to continue his studies, he came to the United States, and gained admission as an Advanced Placement student at NYU College of Dentistry. There he completed his DDS in 2005 and was placed among the top 1/5^th of his class. Continuing his pursuit, he finished a year of General Practice Residency at Monmouth Medical Center where he learned advanced dental concepts under the tutelage of Dr. Mitchel Friedman and many other experienced dentists from New Jersey. At the conclusion of his program he won a prize for excellence in research (Betty Weinstein Memorial Award). Dr. Kumar is a certified Invisalign (invisible braces) provider.

Dr Kumar is an able, proficient and skilled practitioner with expert communication skills.

He is passionate about dentistry and strives to provide the highest quality of care to his patients and towards this endeavor continues to keep him abreast of the latest dental techniques.
